LIGHT: Bright light, away from direct sun, but can be maintained in low light.
TEMPERATURE: moderate/warm-prefers 65-75°F days and 60-70°F nights.
TIPS FOR SUCCESS: Overpotting and overwatering can be fatal. keep planting medium fairly dry to avoid crown rot. Misting during winter months will help with wilting leaves.
REFLOWERING: Once the flower head fades, the rosette of leaves starts to die and is replaced by the offstes at the base. When the offstes is several months old, remove it with some roots attached and plant shallowly in light planting medium. Keep warm until established. Encourage flowering in a mature plant by placing it in a plastic bag with a ripening apple. The fruit gives off ethylene gas, which stimulates blossoming.
